Refund Policy

We’d much rather have happy customers than unwilling ones, so if CoworkRestore isn’t a good fit, ask for your money back. This page sets out exactly how that works.

Every CoworkRestore licence starts with a free 14-day trial. The trial is the full app with no feature limits - there is no “upgrade to unlock” surprise after you pay. We strongly recommend using the trial to check that CoworkRestore runs well on your specific Mac and project folders before purchasing.

If you’ve purchased a licence and changed your mind, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. EU consumers, this is your statutory right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive; we extend the same window to everyone else for fairness.

To start a refund, email us at info@ongoingthings.com from the address you used at checkout and include your order number or the last four digits of the card used. You don’t need to explain why - but if you tell us, it genuinely helps us improve the product.

Refunds are processed by our payment provider Lemon Squeezy back to the original payment method, within 14 days of us receiving your request. We don’t charge any handling or restocking fee. Your bank may take a few additional days to display the credit on your statement.

Once a refund is issued, the licence key is deactivated and the application will return to trial / unlicensed mode at its next check-in (within 14 days, since CoworkRestore has an offline grace window for licensed users).

Outside the 14-day window, refunds are at our discretion. We tend to be generous if something is broken in a way we can’t fix quickly, or if you bought a licence and circumstances changed before you could meaningfully use it. Talk to us - we’re reasonable.

• Licence renewals. If you have an existing perpetual licence and you renew updates for another year at a discount, the renewal is non-refundable once the new update period has begun. Your underlying perpetual licence is unaffected.
• Volume / team purchases. Once activated by members of your team, individual seats within a team licence can’t be selectively refunded. The whole licence can be refunded within the standard window provided none of the seats have been used in production.

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank without contacting us first, we’ll respond by deactivating the licence key associated with the disputed payment. Talking to us first is faster and easier for everyone.
